Chelsea and Manchester United could be engaged in serious transfer dealings this summer as reports are linking both clubs to each other.
The Red Devils want Brazilian star Willian, who plays for the Stamford Bridge outfits.
The Blues, on the other hand, are reportedly linked with three United’s star players including Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard.
Though there hasn’t been anything serious dealings between both clubs for any of these players but reports are claiming that Chelsea are doing everything possible to see that they push through their desire to lure Jesse Lingard to Stamford Bridge.
Manchester United are not thinking of parting ways with the lively striker but Kieran Maguire — a football finance expert — claims that the Old Trafford outfits could be forced to sell the England international so as to realize the huge money they spent Romelu Lukaku last summer.
Maguire reveals that Chelsea are the only premier league club who would love to spend big on Lingard’s signature due to the fact that they are desperately in need of a goal poacher.
He, however, suggest Pep Guardiola might want to get the player but the Citizens board of directors won’t pay as high as £80m for a player who is yet to establish himself as a great goal poacher.
Lingard is presently in a beast form for the three Lions of England at the ongoing world cup in Russia.
His form has helped the European country qualify to the quarter-final round of the tournament, where they will come up against Sweden on Saturday.
