Fee Agreed; Liverpool To Complete Their Fourth Signing This Week

Published

Ki-jana Hoever

Everything is set for Liverpool to confirm their fourth signing of the summer as they have reportedly agreed with terms with Netherlands international youth team Ki-jana Hoever.

According to Goal.com, the youngster is being tracked by the Reds this summer following his impressive showings with Eredivisie club Ajax under-17 last season.

At just 16, many clubs have been linked with his signature this summer but the versatile player reportedly turned down every all offers so as to achieve his dream of joining the Reds academy.

Should he eventually make his move to the Anfield stadium later this week, Hoever will become the third teenager heading to the Merseyside club at the ongoing transfer window.

Chelsea youngster Christie-Davies has joined the club from Stamford Bridge while Bobby Duncan is another young player making his move to the team’s youth setup having dumped Manchester City.

Hoever, is a versatile player, who can comfortably operate as a playmaker, centre-back and equally as a full-back, depending on how is being deployed by his manager.

Goal further revealed that Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal were all vying for his services but he chose to continue his development under Jurgen Klopp, who has impressive records of turning a raw talent into a world-class player within a short period of time.

Marouane Fellaini

Three teams are reportedly interested in a transfer for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

According to the report from the Daily Mirror, the three teams are keen on a £15m raid on Manchester United for the Belgian international star.

Portuguese champions FC Porto, seven-time European champions AC Milan and Chinese Super League outfit Guangzhou Evergrande are all in a battle to sign the Red Devils player.

Manchester United are open to the idea of selling Marouane Fellaini who has been reduced to a peripheral figure at the club since ex-Red Devils striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge of the team.

Norwegian tactician Solskjaer was appointed the interim manager of Manchester United in December after the last permanent manager, Jose Mourinho, lost his job in the wake of a disastrous start to this season.

Fellaini has played just once since the aforementioned Solskjaer became the Manchester United manager.

His sole appearance came earlier this month in the FA Cup third round clash against English Championship side Reading at Old Trafford.

The 31-year-old came on as a second-half substitute in that cup game against the Royals.

He was previously a regular starter while Jose Mourinho was still the manager at Old Trafford.

James Rodriguez is certainly not a favorite of Niko Kovac as the Colombian has struggled to make the same impact from last season under him.

Bayern are willing to let him leave in the current transfer window with six months left on his loan contract with the club.

According to the Daily Star, Arsenal can get him for just £3m which is for the remaining period before his loan spell expires.

David Luiz is set to remain at the Stamford Bridge much longer after his agent claimed that the player is already in talks with the club over a new deal.

The Brazilian was reported to be considering leaving the club after the West London side refused to hand him a two-year deal according to the doctrine of the church which claims that a player should not be handed more than a year extension if he is over 30 years of age.

Mores, David Luiz has returned to the starting XI under the new manager Maurizio Sarri after being sidelined by former Italian boss manager Antonio Conte.

However, David Luiz’s agent Kia Joorabchian confirmed that the Brazilian international defender is still needed at the Stamford Bridge as he noted that talks had already begun with the player.

He said an agreement is being reached between both parties but failed to give the hint if the player had shifted ground or the club.

Meanwhile, the Blues have not hidden their desire to keep the former PSG player over time only for the club’s doctrine which is being adhered to.

The agent has now expressed confidence that negotiations will go as planned between both parties.
