Everything is set for Liverpool to confirm their fourth signing of the summer as they have reportedly agreed with terms with Netherlands international youth team Ki-jana Hoever.
According to Goal.com, the youngster is being tracked by the Reds this summer following his impressive showings with Eredivisie club Ajax under-17 last season.
At just 16, many clubs have been linked with his signature this summer but the versatile player reportedly turned down every all offers so as to achieve his dream of joining the Reds academy.
Should he eventually make his move to the Anfield stadium later this week, Hoever will become the third teenager heading to the Merseyside club at the ongoing transfer window.
Chelsea youngster Christie-Davies has joined the club from Stamford Bridge while Bobby Duncan is another young player making his move to the team’s youth setup having dumped Manchester City.
Hoever, is a versatile player, who can comfortably operate as a playmaker, centre-back and equally as a full-back, depending on how is being deployed by his manager.
Goal further revealed that Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal were all vying for his services but he chose to continue his development under Jurgen Klopp, who has impressive records of turning a raw talent into a world-class player within a short period of time.
