Chelsea are on the verge of completing a move for Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain after reaching an agreement with the Serie A Champions.
The Blues are trying all they could to convince Willian to stay beyond this season but they seem to be far from seeing that happen this summer.
According to reports last night via OK Diario, the Brazilian winger is happy that Barcelona are eyeing a possible move for his signature and he’s willing to move to Camp Nou after being sparingly used by Conte throughout last campaign.
Alvaro Morata is another player who’s close to Stamford Bridge’s exit door after consistent uninspiring performances with the Blues.
The Spaniard is believed to be heading back to Juventus this summer, according to report.
Meanwhile, as a way to replace the Chelsea flop, incoming manager Maurizio Sarri and the Blues board of directors have agreed to pay €60m for Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain.
Though ageing, Higuain will definitely be an upgrade to Alvaro Morata should he complete his switch to the West London outfits before the close of the present transfer period.
Maurizio Sarri will be hoping to reunite with the striker whom he helped broke Serie A’s goalscoring record in the 2016-17 season when he scored 36 goals for Napoli.
Their working relationship will definitely help Higuain settle down at Stamford Bridge without stress.
