Chelsea have finally reached an agreement with Roma for the signature of their Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
According to report, the Blues are set to pay huge money to the Serie A side so as to convince them to release the goalkeeper, who is being awesome for his country at the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
The Blues are yet to decide on Thibaut Courtois future but it is reported that the Belgian netminder could be on his way to either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid, where he broke into limelight as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
As result of the uncertainty surrounding Courtois’ future, Chelsea have agreed to meet Roma’s €73m asking price and they could complete the deal immediately after the world cup or if Brazil fail to qualify to the Semi final of the competition.
The fee is said to be €65m while bonuses are worth €8m. The Blues would be very glad once they acquired his services considering his exploits for the Italian side in last season’s Champions League competition.
With Chelsea set to hire a new manager, the Blues will definitely witness a change in their crop of players as the Italian manager would bring new faces to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Alisson Becker will man the post for the South American country later in the day when Brazil Belgium in the quarterfinal round of this year’s FIFA world cup tournament in Russia.
