75 million pounds Alison Beckers inches closer to Chelsea move.
Roma goalkeeper Alisson is reportedly on the brink of a move to Chelsea according to emerging reports.
The Brazil International was understood to have preferred a move to Spain with Real Madrid mooted as a possible destination for the shot-stopper.
However, Los Blancos were unwilling to go beyond 40 million pounds for the player and reports from the Marca revealed Chelsea are now the frontrunners in the race to sign Allison and are on the verge of sealing a deal after having held talks with the Italian club.
The Spanish news outlet also further stated that the West Londoners will part with a fee close to the 70 million euros valuation slapped on the 26- year- old by Roma’s chairman and club president James Pallotta.
Allison Becker remains the undisputed number 1 goalkeeper for both club and country, notching up over 49 appearances and keeping 22 clean sheets for Roma last campaign
Should the transfer eventually go through, the goalie will be just behind Spanish striker Alvaro Morata (who apparently is linked with a move from the Blues) in the club’s record transfer signings in more than a decade of Roman Abrahimovich ownership of the English club
