Mourinho is getting all he wanted so far this summer in terms of players he wants to see at Old Trafford.

Manchester United Vice-chairman Ed Woodward has been working greatly behind the scenes to ensure that the Portuguese manager is offered the full support he requires so as to get the best results in the 2018-19 season.

So far, Ed Woodward has completed two signings as Diogo Dalot and Fred have switched to Old Trafford ahead of the upcoming season.

Despite the signing of these players, Woodward has promised the Red Devils faithfuls that more signings would be completed before the end of the transfer window.

Another achievement recorded by Woodward in making sure that Mourinho does well in the upcoming season is the fact that he convinced Marouane Fellaini to pen a two-year contract with the Red Devils last week.

The Belgian international has been a source of transfer speculation for a very long time with Galatasaray tipped as his next destination.

Despite Galatasaray’s constant pressure on United for the midfielder’s signature, the Vice-chairman was able to make the player sign a new contract even when everything is pointing to his exit from Old Trafford Stadium.

Mourinho has also been given the chance to bring in another coach to his backroom staffs. The Portuguese manager has reportedly added  Stefano Rapetti to his managerial group as part of his overhauling process to every part of the club.

Other managers added to Mourinho’s team of managers includes veteran defensive midfielder Michael Carrick, who retired from active football last season.

Next season must at least be a great one to remember for the Red Devils fans, considering the efforts Ed Woodward has put in to ensure that everything goes well for the Portuguese manager next season.
