Manchester United star David De Gea Has ‘Mental Problems’
In the early hours of today Spanish paper, El Confidencial reported that Manchester United and Spain international goaltender David De Gea is facing a very serious mental problem.
The netminder has failed to live up to expectations at the ongoing world cup tournament in Russia as he has conceded five goals in three matches, making him the worst goalkeeper in the group stage of the competition.
The same media outlet also claimed that the Spaniard is facing huge criticism from the La Roja’s fans, who can’t believe what they are getting from the goalkeeper.
It is believed that De Gea has weaknesses in his head and it will require a lot of attention from psychologist before he could return to the best form he is known for.
The bad news for Spain supporters is the fact that there is no known psychologist in the country’s coaching crew which isn’t good for the netminder.
Should De Gea fail to live up to his usual performance in the game against Russia on Saturday, he might be made to sit on the bench in subsequent matches if they eventually qualify to the quarter-final round of the competition.
