Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has received a sad news over his move to capture Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak this summer, according to tie reports.

The Slovenian international is being awesome for the La Liga giants in recent seasons and that has endeared him to many European clusters, including the Reds and Ligue 1 Champions Paris St-German.

Liverpool are desperate to get the 25-year-old netminder this summer as they seek for a perfect solution to their goalkeeping crisis but they could be forced to turn their attention to another keeper as Atletico Madrid are unwilling to see him leave the club soon.

He is valued at €100 million (£88m) by Spanish club and they are not ready to listen to any offer below that range.

However, the player himself has ruled out the possibility of joining Liverpool or PSG ahead of next season.

While speaking to reporter from a Spanish media outlet AS, the Slovenia first-choice goalie revealed his decision to respect his contract agreement with the club which made him tied to Atletico Madrid till 2020.

With Oblak’s decision to turn down offers from Liverpool and Paris St-German, Diego Simeone will be happy that one of his important players is staying beyond this summer.

The manager had already signed Thomas Lemar from Monaco, while Antoine Griezmann also rejected Barcelona and Real Madrid’s offer as he renew his contract last week
