Sarri wants Vecino, Rugai and Higuain in Chelsea
Incoming Chelsea Manager Maurizio Sarri is ramping up for a major overhaul of the squad and has reportedly earmarked Inter Midfielder Matias Vecino, and Juventus duo of Gonzalo Higuain and Danelle Rugani as his transfer priorities.
Reports emanating from Italy indicate the former Napoli manager desire in adding a central midfielder, centre back and a striker and Italian news outlet Correira Della revealed Sarri believes the aforementioned trio perfectly suit his plan in a bid to reinforce his squad ahead of his first season in charge of the west Londoners.
The reports further stated Sarri whilst at the helm of Napoli was ardent on luring Vecino having worked with the Uruguayan during his tenure as manager of Empoli but the player opted for a move to Inter Milan instead.
But reports still suggest the Italian remains adamant on the player and would further look to weigh in up a bid along with bids for Higuain and Rugani.
Argentine striker Higuain Is regarded as among Europe deadliest marksmen while Rugani has gained a reputable recognition starring as a Center back for the Serie A champions but it appears unlikely Massimilaino Allegri would be keen on selling prize assets as it would significantly weakening his squad options.
