Chelsea Flop Alvaro Morata has finally revealed to Chelsea board members his decision to partway with the club due to large criticism from Chelsea fans, who were disappointed with his performances throughout last season.
The Spaniard made a huge-money switch to the West London club during last summer’s transfer market but he didn’t live up to his price tag in the 2017-18 season.
He only managed to find the back of the net in 15 occasions for the Blues despite starting most of the games played by Conte’s men in the first half of the season.
After 48 matches he featured in during the previous season, was involved in just 21 goals – a stats which was too far from what Chelsea faithfuls were expecting to see.
However, report emanating from the Blues via The Sun Newspaper, the Spaniard is no longer willing to continue his career at Stamford Bridge next season, he therefore wants to move to another club where he would get more chance to rejuvenate his career.
While Confirming the report, Italian journalist David Amoya writes on his verified Twitter account that Morata wants to leave Chelsea but the Blues are hoping they could make huge profit from his sale.
The journalist also claimed that Chelsea have placed a £70m price tag on his signature but the question remains – who will buy a player who is out-of-form for such a steep price? Time will tell.
Juventus and AC Milan are potential destinations for the player as both teams have shown their desire to get the striker this summer.
