Chelsea record-signing Alvaro Morata could be heading to the Westfalenstadion this summer according to the Daily Star who are reporting that the Blues are set to offer him in swap deal for Dortmund’s youngster Christian Pulisic.
The British publication reports that the highly-rated American youngster is getting huge attention from top Premier League clubs including Liverpool and Chelsea and both clubs are doing all they could to sign the player to their respective clubs.
As a way to beat Liverpool to Pulisic’s signature, the Blues are now set to offer Alvaro Morata as a makeshift for the deal to push through before the end of the current transfer season.
Morata failed to impress in his first season at Stamford Bridge and he might fail to get another chance to redeem himself as he is tipped by pundits and reporters to be moving out of the club this summer.
Another media outlet Daily Mail- known for their quality reports- claims that Pulisic is valued at £60m by the Bundesliga side, who are yet to decide whether they are ready to partway with the impressive winger or not.
However, Borussia Dortmund might prefer to get Michy Batshuayi instead due to the club’s longtime affection to work with the Belgian striker.
Batshuayi spent last season on loan at the Westfalenstadion where he performed brilliantly to the amusement of Dortmund’s hierarchy, who are now hoping to get the player to sign a permanent contract with them.
