World Cup Star courted by Arsenal as club signal intent to sell.
Juventus defender Mehdi Benatia has been reportedly put up of sale by the Italian club this summer amid claims Arsenal and Marseille are coveting the star ahead of the 2018-2019 campaign.
Benatia was part of Morocco’s squad who were recently knocked out from the World cup after two successive defeats at the group stages of the Mundial.
Hence, the North Africans are set to play a meaningless final group game against Spain and Benatia is set to make a decision over his future at the end of the match against the Europeans.
And reports from Italian news outlet, Tuttosport claims Juventus are willing to let the player leave and would readily accept around 17 million pounds from any club interested in the player’s services.
Arsenal are understood to have enquired about the possibility of snapping up the star but would face an intense battle as Marseille and Borrusia Dortmund are reportedly also keen on the defender.
The Gunners are keen on replenishing their defensive options and have been linked with a host of defensive targets ahead of form PSG manager Unai Emery first season in charge at the helm of the North Londoners.
