Maurizio Sarri is set to be confirmed as Chelsea new manager claims Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Italian’s representatives have conducted talks over a potential switch to Chelsea and the deal is widely expected to be announced by both parties in the coming days.
The news of Sarri’s arrival would mark the end of Antonio Conte’s three years stay at the club and the London club are holding talks with the Sarri’s compatriot over the 9.5 million pounds dues regarded as compensation over his impending sacking.
Conte though has expressed his desire to be paid the figure at once but the blues would prefer its retained policy of a weekly basis salary.
Meanwhile, Sarri still remains under contract at Napoli though the club have confirmed former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti as the 56- year- old ’s replacement for next campaign.
And Koulibaly speaking after Senegal’s narrow 2-1 win to Japan in their first game of the Mundial in Russia believes his boss would excel at Chelsea dug out if provided the right weaponry and support from the club’s directors
The 26-year-old said
’’you can expect nice football because he is a very good coach. Its disappointing to see him leave like this’

Sarri would be keen on emulating his predecessor who secured the Premier league crown in his first season at the reins of the west Londoners.
