Barcelona target set to remain at Arsenal.
Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin is set to remain at the club beyond this summer, according to reports from the Sports mole.
The marauding right-back has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona this summer amid claims the Spaniard would be usurped from his role due to the arrival of Stephan Lichtseiner on a free transfer from Juventus.
The Switzerland International possesses bags of experience and could provide the defensive solidity sorely lacking in the Gunners backline although boss Unai Emery is understood to be keen on Bellerin staying at the club for the foreseeable future and will place the veteran fullback as an understudy to the 23-year-old.
Emery rates Bellerin and is further said to have placed Bellerin among his untouchables which also includes Granit Xhaka who is set to feature prominently next season having signed an extension to his contract recently.
The list also reportedly includes main strikers, Alexander Lacazzette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Armenian player of the year, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Aaron Ramsey.
Ramsey.27, future at the club remains uncertain although the reports claim the North London club are still hopeful of tying the Welshman to a new extension to his contract.
