Manchester United set for big money bid for ‘5f 7ins’ player.
Manchester United are reportedly set to bid 60 million pounds bid for Chelsea’s winger Willian, according to a report from Daily Mail.
The reports claim Mourinho is keen on bolstering his attacking options for next season and is potentially targeting a reunion with the Brazilian who he managed at Chelsea prior to his appointment as the Reds Devils manager.
The 29- year- old winger is approaching the remaining two years of his contract at the London club and isn’t considered a guaranteed starter since his move from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2015.
And Mourinho is understood to be eager on the frontman and would seek to tempt him from making a switch from Stamford Bridge to Old Trafford this summer.
However, the Portuguese manager is reportedly willing to shelve talks until after the World cup which his summer target is currently participating in with the Brazil national team.
The Red Devils are also actively in the search for a new defender after Phil Jones and Chris Smalling failure to impress as a centre-back partnership while Ivorian Eric Bailly continues to exasperate the former Real Madrid coach with his attitudinal issues.
