Chelsea Star N’Golo Kante could be heading to Paris St-Germain this summer as the Parc des Princes outfits remain keen on his signature.
The France international was a key figure in Chelsea’s Premier League triumph in 2016. He was also impressive during last campaign, though the whole team flopped throughout the season, failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
The former Leicester City midfielder is reportedly the top player on PSG transfer target and the Ligue 1 Champions are desperate to lure him back to his homeland in the upcoming season.
It was reported via The Mirror that Paris St-German new manager Thomas Tuchel has advised the club’s hierarchy to make a £90m move for his signature so as to convince the Blues to let of player before the close of the summer transfer window.
It is believed that PSG sporting director Antero Henrique is presently in London to discuss with the Blues representatives over the possibility of luring the Frenchman to Parc des Princes Stadium.
However, N’Golo Kante has responded to rumors linking him to the Ligue 1 Champions. According to him, he is still a Chelsea player and until he officially announced himself as PSG player, nothing will change.
He revealed that no club has made an official approach for his signature. He also claimed that he isn’t thinking about his future at Chelsea but he is only thinking about how he could help the Les Blues to a successful World Cup outing.
“Today, I’m in Chelsea and I do not worry about what’s going on around it. I’m preparing for the World Cup, I only have that in mind” he concluded.
