Chelsea in a three-horse race battle to sign Brazilian.

Chelsea are set to compete with Liverpool and Paris Saint Germain for the race to sign Porto defender Alex Tellas.

The left-back had a stellar season for the Portuguese outfit and was instrumental in the club’s triumphant success in the league last term.

However such impressive performances would attract the top clubs who have a wide range of scouts across the big leagues.

And according to reports from French new outlet, Le Parisien, the three clubs are intent on adding to Tellas to their ranks ahead of the 2018-2019 campaign.

The reports claim the clubs have contacted Porto over a potential sale although the Portuguese club are reluctant in departing with their prized defender as he remains an influential figure in the side.

Chelsea have held a long-term interest in Tellas and are actively on the search of a top defender with David Luiz seemingly set for an exit from Stamford Bridge after been deemed surplus to requirements by Antonio Conte and concerns over Marcos Alonso defensive astuteness.

PSG are also keen on a deal with sporting director Antero Henrique reportedly a huge admirer of the player’s abilities while Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp also seeks a further addition to the squad’s depth.

Kenneth Omeruo

Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo, who is currently on loan with Leganes has been able to deliver a good news to his side.

Omeruo had suffered a knock in the 69th minute of his side’s game 1-1 game against Valencia at the Estadio de Mestalla on Saturday, October 20 and was immediately subbed out of the game.

There were fears he would be out for a longer period with CD Leganes announcing that the player had picked up an injury on Saturday but he has returned.

The Super Eagles defender revealed on social media that he will be available for the next game with hopes that he returns to training on Monday so as to ensure his fitness ahead of their clash against Atletico Madrid.

The Chelsea player has been moving from one club to the other in search of a first team football having been unable to seal a place in the heart of the West London defence.

It appears the young lad will not be allowed to leave the Stamford Bridge anytime soon as they have continued to lay hold on him despite his inability to make the team.

Omeruo had returned from loan only to be told by new manager Maurizio Sarri that he will not be having a place in his team.

Paul Pogba

Juventus manager Maximiliano Allegri has denied rumours linking Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba with a return to the club.

Allegri, 51, spoke about the France World Cup winner in a chat with the Italian media and that the 25-year-old midfield general is still a Manchester United player.

Maximiliano Allegri and Paul Pogba will reunite on Tuesday night when Italian champions Juventus travel to England to take on Manchester United in a Champions League Matchday 3 clash in Group H.

Pogba played under Allegri until the summer of 2016 when he sealed a return to Manchester United for a world record transfer fee of £89m.

Juventus had earlier paid the Red Devils a sizeable compensation fee after the Manchester United Academy graduate moved there on a free transfer from the Red Devils in 2012.

In his first season at Manchester United, Pogba played a major role in three trophy triumphs.

Manchester United won the Community Shield, the Europa League title as well as the Carabao Cup title in that season.

Things quickly moved from good to bad for Pogba when he was dropped by manager Jose Mourinho.

Their relationship has deteriorated in the new campaign leading to rumours linking the French midfielder with a return to Juventus and other clubs like Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Barcelona.

Eden Hazard

Emerging reports hint that Belgium star Eden Hazard will be handed a new deal at Chelsea that will make him the highest paid player in the English Premier League.

The Stamford Bridge side are making efforts to keep Hazard away from Spanish giants Real Madrid who have indicated interest and are also tempting him with more juicy offers.

The Belgium playmaker who had earlier walked out of contract talks agreed to commit his future to the club but noted that he has been a big fan of the Spanish side.

But with his decision to remain with the West London club, the Sunday Express report that Hazard had delayed a new deal to either have his way to his dream club or get a more interesting offer from the Blues.

However, a £300, 000 a-week-deal in place for Hazard for over a year now will be increased to £350, 000 for the player if reports from the Stamford Bridge is anything to go by.

Hazard has just 18 months to see off his £200, 00 a-week deal but he might be made the wage king to earn over Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil who earns about £300, 000 at the Emirates Stadium.

With the delay in negotiations, there are growing fears that the Belgium man might still leave at the end of the day.

Nikola Milenkovic

Manchester United will have to fend off competition from rival Premier League clubs in the bid to sign highly rated Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic according to various media reports.

Milenkovic, 21, is attracting interests from several European heavyweights following series of impressive performances for his Italian Serie A side.

According to an exclusive report from renowned English transfer news portal Daily Star, Manchester United will have to fend off rival Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea as well as Italian Serie A giants Juventus in their pursuit of the Serbian international centre back.

The report further stated that Milenkovic is rated at £40m by Fiorentina and that a bid in that region will be too tempting for the club to refuse.

An earlier report from Italian news outlet La Nazione had claimed last week that Manchester United had a £60m bid rejected during the summer’s transfer window.

Manchester United manager is in desperate need of defensive reinforcements for his team after the Red Devils’ poor start to the new league campaign.

The former Premier League winners have conceded a whopping 16 goals in just nine league games and that has seen them drop to ninth spot on the table with 14 points from their first nine games of the season.
