Tottenham want-away defender Danny Rose is hoping he could make his move to Old Trafford before the close of the ongoing transfer window.
The England international has been a source of transfer speculation for a very long time with Manchester United tipped as his next club.
The Red Devils manager José Mourinho is keen on his signature but Tottenham have failed to sanction his move to Old Trafford due to the rivalry between both clubs.
The Telegraph are reporting that the 27-year-old left-back is eager to pitch his tent with the Red Devils ahead of next season.
Despite Danny Rose’s come-and-get-me call to Mourinho, the Portuguese manager is reportedly not interested in getting another fullback after he completed a move for Porto’s youngster Diogo Dalot last week.
However, the speedy left-back, who can also operate as a right-back or right wing-back, could still make his dream move to Old Trafford should the club terminate the contract they have with Luke Shaw.
The England international wasn’t in good terms with Mourinho throughout the last term and the manager is willing to axe him from his squad ahead of next season.
The Telegraph also reports that Everton are monitoring Rose’s condition at the Wembley Stadium.
The Merseyside club are hoping to start their overhauling process by bringing the €64.2m-rated player to the Goodison Park.
