Manchester United reportedly eyeing up eight more signings this summer
Manchester Evening News have reported that the Red Devils are keeping tabs on a host of top defenders as Manager Jose Mourinho is intent on bolstering his backline ahead of next season.
Tottenham’s Toby Alderweid, Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane, Bayern Munich’s Jerome Boateng, Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, Inter Milan’s Milan Skrinlar, AC Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli, Atletico Madrid’s Jose Gimenez and Freiburg’s Caylos Suyuncu are the players apparently wanted by the Portuguese coach ahead of weighing up a bid for his most preferred options in the eight -man list.
The same reports also state the club would not look to sell any of their current defenders should any of their targets arrive at Old Trafford this summer.
The Club’s chiefs have expressed their intent on equipping Mourinho the funds pivotal in mounting a serious assault on the Premier League crown next season.
The club and have already successfully concluded deals with Porto and Shakhtar Donetsk for Diogo Dalot and Fred respectively but will look to clear its deadwood before further signings are added into the team.
