Arsenal manager Unai Emery is making right moves to ensure that his team are fortified enough to lay claim for next season’s Premier League glory.
The former PSG boss is keen on upgrading his team before the close of the ongoing transfer window and he is on the right path to achieving his mission.
It was reported two weeks ago via the Sun that Porto youngster Yacine Adli has agreed to switch to the Emirates Stadium this summer but the player is yet to pen a deal with the club.
Yacine is reportedly in London to officially sign a deal with the Gunners. The 17-year-old defender is believed to have arrived at North London ahead of his medicals before penning a 3-year contract in coming days.
According to reports emanating from France, Yacine would be confirmed as Arsenal player this week should everything go on as planned.
Arsenal are reportedly willing to pay Portuguese League giants Porto a sum of £223,000.
Should he finally move to Arsenal, he will become the third player signed by the busy Arsenal manager, who had already secured Stephan Lichtsteiner and Joel Lopez’s services from Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona respectively.
Meanwhile, with three days to the summer World Cup, Arsenal have sent their scouts to Russia so as to monitor some players with impressive skills and qualities.
The Gunners sporting director Sven Mislintant is also reportedly going to be part of Arsenal’s entourage to Russia in order to make move for players he would want to see play for the Gunners next season.
