Barcelona set to listen to offers for Liverpool target
The Spanish champions are reportedly willing to accept offers for their second choice goalkeeper, Jasper Cillesen, amidst claims the Dutchman is intent on securing a switch away from the Catalan outfit.
And according to various Spanish news outlets, Liverpool are monitoring the situation of the shot-stopper and have enquired about the possibility of landing the star as Manager, Jurgen Klopp appears eager on resolving his goalkeeping situation prior to the start of next season.
Cillesen, 29, has had to contend with being a backup option to Marc-Andre ter Segen, with the German International being preferred between the sticks in most games by Barca manager, Ernesto Valverde.
The same reports also claim the Reds would face stiff competition from Arsenal who are also linked with a swoop for the goalkeeper as reports have suggested the club would be willing to accept proposals for Cillesen
The Netherland International reportedly has a reported 60 million euros release clause stipulated in his contract but it seems unlikely both premier league clubs would be keen on paying such a massive fee for a player who has been relegated as a second fiddle at the La Liga side throughout the duration of the previous season
