Genk winger, Moses Simon has been linked with a move to the Reds this summer.
Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on reinforcing his attacking options ahead of next season and has reportedly casted his glances on the Nigerian.
Simon has a year remaining in his contract at the Belgian club and is reportedly coveted by a host of Premier League clubs, amid claims the forward could be available for 10 million pounds.
And according to the Liverpool Echo, the youngster is been monitored by Liverpool, as Klopp is keen for adequate backup options to the Red’s attacking trio of Mohammed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
Moses scored a total of six goals, equally laying six assists as Genk finished in the fourth position in the Belgium pro league. His ability to play in a variety of roles would make him an ideal option for Liverpool German manager who is intent on landing players that suitably fit in a number of roles in his renowned 4-3-3 formation.
The 22- year- old contributions for his club was not deemed enough by Bernat Rohr to earn a place in Nigeria’s 22-man squad for the World Cup in Russia.
