Liverpool very keen on Nigerian Star moses Simon.

Genk winger, Moses Simon has been linked with a move to the Reds this summer.

Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on reinforcing his attacking options ahead of next season and has reportedly casted his glances on the Nigerian.

Simon has a year remaining in his contract at the Belgian club and is reportedly coveted by a host of Premier League clubs, amid claims the forward could be available for 10 million pounds.

And according to the Liverpool Echo, the youngster is been monitored by Liverpool, as Klopp is keen for adequate backup options to the Red’s attacking trio of Mohammed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

Moses scored a total of six goals, equally laying six assists as Genk finished in the fourth position in the Belgium pro league. His ability to play in a variety of roles would make him an ideal option for Liverpool German manager who is intent on landing players that suitably fit in a number of roles in his renowned 4-3-3 formation.

The 22- year- old contributions for his club was not deemed enough by Bernat Rohr to earn a place in Nigeria’s 22-man squad for the World Cup in Russia.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been told to sell three players as he attempts to take the club back to the where it belongs, the top of European football.

Journalist Philib de Brun, via the Daily Star, thinks that the three players namely Marouane Fellaini, Marcos Rojo and Antonio Valencia have nothing to offer the club.

He further said that they should be offloaded in the current January transfer window.

Philib de Brun is the Beyond The Pitch podcast host.

According to him, Marouane Fellaini is not suited to the new playing style under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Norwegian tactician Solskjaer was appointed the interim Red Devils manager in December shortly after the dismissal of Jose Mourinho.

Fellaini was a regular under Mourinho but his role at the club has been reduced since the advent of Solskjaer as the new Manchester United manager.

The Belgian has been ruled out for at least four weeks with calf problem.

He still has 18 months left on the two-year contract that he signed in the summer.

De Brun also thinks Marcos Rojo should be sold mainly because of his consistent injury problems while he said that the best days of Antonio Valencia are behind him.

Both Rojo and Valencia have six months left on their respective contracts at Old Trafford.

Arsenal were dealt a big blow at the weekend when key defender Hector Bellerin was stretchered off during the Gunners’ London Derby clash with Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday night.

The Spanish international right-back could miss the remainder of the season but the Gunners are unlikely to sign a replacement for him.

According to the London Evening Standard, Arsenal won’t sign a replacement if the Spaniard would be out for a long time.

The Barcelona Academy graduate made his return from the calf injury in the penultimate league game against West Ham United.

Arsenal were beaten 1-0 in their London Derby clash with the Hammers courtesy a goal from English defender Declan Rice.

Gary Cahill

English Premier League side Fulham might no longer secure the signature of out-of-favour Chelsea defender Gary Cahill, according to Sky Sports reports.

This is after it was reported that negotiations between the two clubs failed to make any head way which makes it impossible for the deal to be sealed.

An earlier report claimed that Fulham will have the England international defender on a loan deal with an option to buy him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Gary Cahill has failed to make the manager Maurizio Sarri team and that is the reason why he seeks a move away to other destination where the would be handed starting roles.

Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri is reported to be keen on the player but also gave a hint as he stated that he is unsure if Gary Cahill will want to play for the team.

Suggestions are that Fulham might not have the capacity to keep the England international for a longer period of time as he already made it clear that he would want to have a longer stay in any club he moves to when he leaves the Stamford Bridge.

However, it is expected that Gary Cahill leaves the club to other destination with other suitors waiting to land him as well.
