Mourinho Linked With Another Brazilian After Fred’s Signing
Mourinho seems to have found joy working with Brazilian players. The Portuguese manager worked with Marcelo during his time at Santiago Bernabeu
In his days at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho worked with Willian, Oscar, David Luiz and Ramirez before he made his move to Manchester United in 2016.
Though he didn’t have any Brazilian in his starting lineup team during his two seasons as United manager, he is set to have them in the upcoming season.
The manager completed a £53m move for Shaktar Donetsk and Brazil midfielder Fred yesterday and he is now making a surprise move for another Brazilian, this time, it is Watford’s striker Richarlison.
The young Brazilian striker was a joy to watch in his early days at Vicarage road but his form gradually deepens as the season progresses.
Despite a fall in his form during the second period of last season, Mourinho is hoping he could sign the 21-year-old striker in the summer.
However, according to the Sun, the Red Devils might need to pay nothing less than £40m for his services base on Watford’s price tag on the player.
