Arsenal manager Unai Emery is reportedly closer to signing PSG youngster Yacine Adli, according Corriere dello Sport.

It was reported here last week that the Gunners have reached an agreement with the striker , who is ready for a 3-year contract with the club.

The Italian publication are now reporting that Arsenal are closing on completing his switch to the Emirates Stadium before the start of the summer World Cup in Russia.

The Frenchman has been directly involved in 20 goals for the young Les Blues side (France Under-17) since his debut for the team.

He is believed to be one of the most sought-after teenagers in the world as Juventus, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Barcelona are all vying for his services ahead of next season.

The youngster made his PSG’s first-team debut under Unai Emery during the recently concluded season and he wants to reunite with the Spanish tactician at Arsenal so as to maintain a steady growth in his career.

Despite being out of contract this month, the Gunners will have to pay €255,000 (£223,000) to PSG according to FIFA rules.

Unai has promised the youngster that he would get regular first-team actions in the upcoming season but it remains unknown who would make way for him before the start of the season.

In few days time, Arsenal might be unveiling Adli as their first summer signing ahead of the 2018-19 season.
