Liverpool swoop in to battle Arsenal for Brazilian star

Liverpool are set to face stiff competition from Arsenal in the race to sign Bernard from Ukrainian Champions Shakhtar Donetsk
The Brazilian has starred for the club, winning three league titles and making series of pivotal contributions since his arrival from Brazilian outfit Atletico Miniero in 2013.
However, the 25- year- old contract is set to expire at the end of June and it appears increasingly unlikely a renewal is forthcoming, with reports claiming the playmaker is keen on testing himself at the top level on a consistent basis and has offered his services to Inter Milan and Roma who were said to be keen on luring the playmaker to Serie A
But, according to renowned Journalist from the Premium sport, Andersinho Marquez, Arsenal and Liverpool are in a tug of war to land the playmaker.
The Reds have moved swiftly to acquire Fabinho from Ligue 1 side, A.S Monaco and manager Jurgen Klopp appears keen on making further additions to a midfield largely outclassed in the Champions League final loss to Real Madrid last week.
Meanwhile Arsenal’s new manager, Unai Emery looks to kick off his reign by bolstering his defensive options with a deal for Juventus full-back Stephen Liechestener and put in in bids for Bundesliga stars, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Carlos Soyuncu.
