Manchester United defender, who was signed by Louis Van Gaal, Matteo Darmian is set to put an end to his stay at Old Trafford.
The Italian has witnessed a less-successful spell at Old Trafford since Mourinho took charge in 2016 as he failed to get a regular first-team action in the team.
There have been speculations over his future at Old Trafford since last season’s transfer market but there was no suitor for his services.
According to reports that circulated in the media last month, Juventus have made him their prime target in the summer.
The Turin outfits have reportedly reached an agreement with the Old Trafford outfits over the possibility of signing Matteo Darmian before the start of the summer transfer window.
Having made up his mind to leave the Theater of Dreams in the summer, Darmian is set to undergo his medicals ahead of a switch to Juventus.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the Italian will undergo his medical with Juventus (Friday) before signing a new deal with the Maximiliano Allegri’s side.
Though he wasn’t an integral part of the team, he was able to play his part in the club’s success story in terms of trophies.
He helped the Red Devils to an FA Cup, a League Cup, the Europa League and the Community Sheild during his stay at Old Trafford since 2011.
