Manchester United full back set for a move to Serie A

Manchester United Right back, Matteo Darmian is poised to complete a summer transfer to Juventus.

The Italian full-back arrived at Manchester United from Torino on a four- year deal in 2015, but has found first-team opportunities limited under Manager, Jose Mourinho and is now set for a move back to Serie A.

The 28- year- old has made just 17 starts this term and is behind the excellent duo of Ashley young and Antionio Valencia in the pecking order at old with reports now claiming a fee has been agreed between both European giants with a medical pencilled in Turin on Friday.

The deal is said to be in the region of 12 million pounds with Brazilian full-back Alex Sandro reportedly moving the other way in a rumoured player-plus-cash swap deal.

Mourinho is hell-bent on replenishing his defensive options which could also be dwindled due to Luke Shaw’s apparent desperation to seek for newer pastures.

The full-back, included in the World cup standby list for England has endured a torrid relationship with Mourinho and is keen on ending his nightmarish stay at Old Trafford, amid reported interest from Barcelona.
