Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Pereira is presently getting more suitors ahead of the summer transfer window in July.
The 21-year-old netminder, who was the third-choice goalie for the Red Devils during the just concluded season, is being tracked by Real Betis and Sevilla, according to ESPN.
The Portuguese young goalie failed to appear in any League match for the Old Trafford outfits throughout last season and he is open to a move out of the Theater of Dreams. He only had a cameo appearance for the Red Devils in their 4-1 victory over Burton in FA Cup Competition.
David De Gea was in top form throughout last season and that didn’t give other netminders — including Sergio Romero — the opportunity to man the post in any League match.
Pereira is reportedly unhappy with his benching role under his compatriot and he wants to move to a club where he would get quality time on the field of play in the 2018-19 season.
The report also disclosed that Real Sociedad are also keeping a close tab on his situation at Old Trafford, hoping to make move for his services.
It is understood that United are not ready to outrightly sell him to other clubs, they would rather prefer to let him out on a loan deal in the summer.
Meanwhile, Serie A clubs are also said to be monitoring his progress for the Red Devils.
Torino and Atalanta’s hierarchies are both considering making a loan move for the youngster as they hope to provide solid goalkeeper for their respective teams in the upcoming season.
