It’s reported that new Arsenal boss Unai Emery is ready to make a huge sweep for PSG players in the summer and that includes France international Rabiot.
Rabiot, 23, failed to impress with the Ligue 1 giants this season and that has cost him a place in Didier Deschamps’ World Cup squad.
The Frenchman was unexpectedly omitted from Les Blues squad to the upcoming Russia 2018 World Cup.
While reacting to his surprise exclusion from the list, Rabiot points an accusing finger at his limited time he spent on the pitch for PSG, thereby fuelling speculations that he might consider reuniting with Emery at the Emirates Stadium.
Having spent eight years at the Parc Des Princes Stadium, Rabiot has played 200 matches, scoring 20 goals in the process.
His appearance at the Gunners midfield will give a sort of assurance to Mesut Ozil – who will be given the duty to create clear-cut chances for his teammates – that he is fully covered should the team loss possession of the ball.
Meanwhile, Juventus are ready to block Emery’s move for Rabiot in the summer. The Old Lady have been credited with an interest in the Frenchman, according to Tuttosport.
Maximiliano Allegri is hoping the midfielder accept his offer despite Arsenal’s bid.
