Manchester United are reportedly set to partway with former Monaco striker Anthony Martial, who has failed to live up to his billings throughout this campaign.
Chelsea and Arsenal were the first clubs to show their interest in the youngster, according to report. Both clubs failed to score many goals throughout the recently concluded season and they have identified the Frenchman as the perfect solution to their respective goalscoring problems.
However, there is a bad news for both clubs over their desire to capture his signature as the Red Devils are unwilling to sell the player to their closest rivals in the summer.
According to Daily Mail, Manchester United manager, José Mourinho is not ready to listen to any offer from either Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool or Tottenham for the 22-year-old striker.
With this report, Juventus are now the favourite club to land the Frenchman in the summer. The Scuddeto Champions are Martial’s longtime admirer as they made a move to sign him in 2017 but were unsuccessful.
United are interested in Juventus left-back Alex Sandro in the summer, that might boost Juventus chances of getting the Frenchman in a player-plus-cash deal.
Martial is presently valued at £45m by the 19-time Premier League Champions but the Old Lady would do everything possible to beat down the price tag when the summer window opens.
