Manchester United manager José Mourinho is desperately in search of a new Right-back in the summer as part of his overhauling process ahead of the upcoming season.

The Portuguese manager was heavily linked with a shock move for Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin but it turns out to be a mere rumor has there is no further news over the player’s proposed move to Old Trafford.

Atletico Madrid’s right-back Sime Vrsjalko was also believed to have caught Mourinho’s attention with his scintillating performance for the Rojo Blancos this season.

The Croatian defender can comfortably play as left-back but the Portuguese manager hasn’t shown deep interest in his signature.

However, according to reports emanating from France via Le10 Sport, Mourinho has found a perfect player for the position and he is set to reach an agreement for his signature before the Summer World Cup in Russia.

The French media outlet suggest that Djibril Sidibé, who currently plays for Monaco, might on his way to Old Trafford in the summer.

Mourinho is impressed with the Frenchman’s display at the back for the Ligue 1 giants and he wants him at Old Trafford ahead of next season.

Having signed him from Lille in a deal which is believed to be €15m last summer, Monaco are ready to make huge profit from his sale as they are reportedly set to place huge price tag on his signature.

Negotiations are currently underway between both parties, according to the sport journal last Wednesday.
