Manchester United are reportedly keen to signing Šime Vrsaljko from Serie A giant Athletico Madrid.

According to reports from Sport, United manager Jose Mourinho has reiterated his desire to the club’s directors to spend heavily so as to compete on equal terms with Manchester city, and is targeting the fullback as his first summer signing.
The 26- year- old has starred for Genoa and joined the Los Cochoneros from Sassoulo in 2016, recently playing a significant albeit a bit part role in the club’s eventual triumph of the Europa league.
Reports claim Jose Mourinho is keen on revamping his poor defence and sees Šime Vrsaljko as a very solid addition to hissquad.
The Croatian international was recently selected in his country preliminary squad for the World cup and is believed to be worth around 30 million pounds.
The Premier League club have also been heavily linked with Real Madrid’s trio of Tony kroos, Luka Modric and Gareth Bale as Jose Mourinho is reportedly looking to raid his former club Real Madrid for further reinforcements of his attack.
