Liverpool are on their toes as they are keeping a close tab on Barcelona youngster Ousmane Dembele, who could be moving out of the Camp Nou Stadium in the Summer.
It was reported earlier last week that Barcelona are not ready to let go of the Frenchman in the summer despite his uninspiring displays in his debut season with the Blaugranas.
But according to reports from Spain, the youngster could be on his way towards Camp Nou exit door as the La Liga giants seem to have rescinded their decision over his signature.
According to El Gol Digital, Barcelona are desperately eyeing a possible move for Atletico striker Antoine Griezmann this summer, they therefore wants to sell the former Borussia Dortmund young winger so as to fund their move for the Atletico man.
Having heard about the report, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has advised the Reds board to keenly monitor the player’s situation. He also charged them to make an official move to capturing his signature in the summer so as to avoid losing him to other suitors especially Arsenal.
The German tactician is Dembele’s longtime admirer and he would be glad if he finally ends up working with him next season.
Dembele has been a flop for Barcelona this season, though, his development was greatly affected by the injury he picked up in his first game for the Catalans.
He has featured in just 16 matches, scoring five goals for Ernesto Valverde’s team in all competitions this season. He is rated at £135m by Barcelona but the price will surely beat down by Liverpool during negotiations with the club.
