Maurizio Sarri has been in the transfer news for more than a month now due to constant reports that he could be moving to the Premier League next season with Chelsea tipped as his destination.
Though the Blues owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly looking for a new manager after reaching an agreement with his board of directors to partway with Antonio Conte by the close of the season, he might need to look elsewhere as Maurizio Sarri looks set to renew his contract with Napoli in coming weeks.
According to Standard Sports, the manager is ready to negotiate a new deal with the Serie A side this week.
Sarri was awesome this season as he led the Naples to a second-place finish behind Juventus, who are the League Champions.
Should Sarri reach an agreement with De Laurentiis over a new deal in the summer, Chelsea will need to consider other options at their disposal including – Ancelotti, Allegri, Enrique, Wagner.
Meanwhile, Chelsea underfire manager Antonio Conte is currently preparing his men ahead of Fa Cup final showdown against Manchester United.
The Italian manager, who could be shown the Blues exit door after the game, is hoping to defeat one of his greatest rivals José Mourinho to win the trophy for the first time in his coaching career.
