Arsenal and Spain centre-back Hector Bellerin is willing to remain at the Emirates Stadium beyond this season despite interest from Barcelona, Juventus, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United for his services in the upcoming season.
The former Barcelona youngster was one of the standout players in Arsene Wenger’s team this season before he picked up an injury which ruled him out of action for few weeks.
He is presently linked out of Arsenal by numerous transfer reports with Manchester United tipped as his next destination but the player has publicly debunked the rumors claiming he has no desire to leave the club anytime soon
While speaking to Sky Sports over his future, the 24-year-old revealed that Arsenal is now his home and he has no intention of leaving the team after the summer World Cup.
“I’ve got a long contract, I have been in London for a very long time, this is what I call my home right now,” he told Sky Sports
He further speaks on his chances of making Spain world cup squad by claiming he is ready and fully fit to participate for the La Rojas at the Mundial if given the opportunity.
“There is nothing else I am thinking of, for the summer . We have the World Cup, I don’t know if I will be called up or not, that is something we will need to wait and see” he said.
The full-back, who can also operate as a left-back, speaks on the club’s post-Wenger era, he revealed that the club’s atmosphere is presently gloomy as players are already missing the Frenchman, who has decided to step down as Arsenal boss by the end of the season.
He admits he would miss Wenger as a coach and also miss him as a person who has been a source of motivation for the young and upcoming stars in the team.
