Deal close – Arsenal star player set to put pen to paper on a new contract.

According to reports from the Daily Mirror. Arsenal midfielder is poised to sign a new contract at the club.

The 26- year- old career has been marred with injuries but has shown a reliability to feature consistently in matches this campaign.

The reports also claim Arsenal are pleased with the Englishman progress and are eager to extend his contract which is set to expire this summer.

An initial reported 90,000 pounds a week deal packed with add-ons and incentives was rejected by Wilshere but the Gunners are set to offer an improved three-year contract.

The reported improved deal would a be win-win situation as Wilshere is an avid Arsenal fan and is said to be ready to commit his future with the club.

The England international starred on loan while at Bournemouth last season and was linked with an exit from the london club amid interest from Everton and Juventus.

However, the reports claim Wilshere is keen on being part of a resurgence at the club and is set to end those rumours by putting pen to paper on a new deal at the end of the season.
