Chelsea set to recall talented french midfielder from Celtic
The Blues are ready to recall Charles Musonda from a torrid loan spell at Celtic according to reports.
The young prospect amidst interest from other clubs agreed to join the Scottish champions on a loan spell last term, after impressive displays since making his first-team debut in the loss to Arsenal prior to the beginning of this campaign.
The France under-21 star has however endured a turbulent time in Scotland and has struggled to feature in the starting line up from the onset as Brendan Rodgers’s men maintained their unrivalled dominance of the Scottish league.
Reports now claim Parent club, Chelsea are unhappy over teenager’s situation and are ready to terminate the deal and bring him back to Stamford Bridge.
Musonda is currently undergoing treatment at the Chelsea’s Cobham training centre, after suffering a shoulder injury and it is increasingly unlikely the highly rated prodigy will feature in Celtic’s remaining games of the campaign.
The Blues currently have as much as 42 players out on loan with different clubs and will seek to monitor each players development amid a potential overhaul of the current first team squad.
