Manchester United are reportedly in the race to sign United States of American international youngster Christian Pulisic this summer, according to the Mirror.
The British publication suggests that José Mourinho is set to offer a deal for the young Borussia Dortmund winger, who is also a target for Liverpool and Arsenal.
The 20-year-old winger has been in devastating form for the Bundesliga side this season as he has found the back of the net in five occasions after 41 round of matches played in all competitions. He has also recorded seven assists for Borussia Dortmund, who failed to mount any pressure on Bayern Munich for the League trophy. Despite his young age Pulisic is said to cost Mourinho a whopping £40m if he must acquire his services ahead of Liverpool and Arsenal.
The Mirror also claims that Anthony Martial could be offered as part of the deal to Dortmund so as to convince the Wesftaladion outfits to let go of the young but lively winger this summer.
Anthony Martial is being less impressive this season compared to the previous season and Mourinho is presently furious with his performance against Brighton in which he failed to convert numerous begging chances that come his way.
Despite scoring 11 goals for the Red Devils so far, Martial could be out Old Trafford in the summer.
Chelsea and the Gunners are on alert as they hope to lure the Frenchman to their respective clubs as part of their overhauling process ahead of next season.
The £58m-rated has scored 36 goals in 135 games for United since his 2015 move to Old Trafford from AS Monaco.
