Chelsea identify world class center forward as a replacement for Alvaro Morata.
The Blues are reportedly looking to sign PSG Forward Edinson Cavani as an adequate replacement for the Spanish striker.
The 25- year- old had an impressive first half of the season since making a scoring debut against Burnley, but the striker has failed to impress since the turn of the year which is in stark contrast to reported target Edinson Cavani who recently overthrew Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the Paris club record goal scorer.
Italian sports outlet Caiciomercato claims, the London club has lost patience with the sulking Morata and will look to invest heavily on a replacement in the summer despite the arrival of Oliver Giroud in January.
Cavani has netted an impressive 31 goals in 32 appearances for Paris Saint Germain and is reportedly on the top of suitable transfer lists for the Spaniard and Chelsea are rumoured to be weighing a bid for the 31-year -old.
The London outfit are reportedly looking to get rid of the deadwood stacked up at Stamford Bridge and make space for incoming players signed by the club’s next manager.
