This past week hasn’t been a good one for the Gunners after failing to qualify to the Europa League final as they were beaten by Atletico Madrid, thanks to Diego Costa whose goal was enough to send the RojiBlancos to this season’s Europa League final against Marseille.
This week seems to be a better one for the North London club faithfuls as there are rumors suggesting that Arsenal have reached an agreement with Lyon for their midfield maestro Nabil Fekir.
According to French media publication L’Equipe in their Sunday’s edition, Lyon have confirmed that the 22-goal star would be heading towards the club’s exit door by the end of the season despite having a contract which will expire in 2020.
The player has proven himself as an unselfish player this season after recording seven assists for his teammates and that trait would surely benefit Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Lacazette, both of whom didn’t get much services from the midfielders all through the season.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City are all believed to have made an official approach towards signing the youngster but Arsenal have reportedly won the race for his signature.
Fekir’s reported move to Arsenal has been likened to that of Alexandre Lacazette who made a huge-money(£60) move to the Emirates stadium during the last summer transfer window.
