Jose Mourinho Advises United To Sign £52million Star As Shaw’s Replacement

Manchester United manager José Mourinho has reportedly told the club’s hierarchy to swiftly move to sign Juventus defender Alex Sandro this summer ahead of Chelsea who have earlier shown interest in the 27-year-old defender.

The Portuguese manager has never been a good friend with the England international since he joined Red Devils in 2016 and he is now set to offload him by the close of the season.

Though many players-including Tottenham’s Danny Rose, Celtic’s Kieran Tierney – were tipped to be Shaw’s replacement should he finally end his stay at Old Trafford, the Portuguese manager has now channelled his attention to only the Brazilian whom he believes will add more versatility to the team from the left-back position.

It was reported during the previous transfer period via Tuttosport that  Scuddeto Juventus are not willing to release the player to any club who are not ready to meet their asking price of  £52million. Due to the Old Lady’s stand on the player’s future, Mourinho has called on the Red part of Manchester to ensure that Sandro didn’t move to any other team.

The Brazilian has been phenomenal for the Serie A league leaders, he has featured in over 40 matches for the Turin outfits this season.
