Manchester United and Ivorian international centre-back Eric Bailly is currently having a worst time at Old Trafford as he is reportedly not in good terms with José Mourinho.
Since his switch to Old Trafford from Villarreal in 2016, The Ivorian has —no doubt — been the best defender in José Mourinho’s squad including this season, until he picked up an injury which ruled him out of actions for some months.
After the 24-year-old returned to full-fitness, he has only been sparingly used by the Portuguese manager with his last appearance for the club coming against Manchester City last month.
Bailly has been frozen out of starting lineup as Mourinho prefer the partnership between Chris Smalling and Phil Jones at the heart of his defence.
As a result of his recent cold relationship with the gaffer, Bailly might be moving out of Old Trafford this summer according to report as Chelsea and Arsenal are on alert.
The Blues have endured a frustrating season but will be hoping to change things before the start of next season. The Blues captain Gary Cahill has failed to live up to his billings this season and he could be pushed to the substitute bench by the next manager, should he fail to improve his form.
Chelsea are hoping to explore Bailly’s present situation at Old Trafford in luring him to Stamford Bridge where he would partner with in-form Christensen in the coming season.
The Gunners are also believed to be in contention for the Ivorian’s signature as they are reportedly keeping a close watch athis situation under Mourinho.
