Santi Cazorla has updated the latest development of his potential return to full-fitness and that has gladdened his fans’ heart.
The Spaniard has been in the recuperating room for over two years since he picked up an Achilles injury in 2016 during a Champions League clash against Ludogorets which ended in the Gunners favour.
Many fans and pundits initially thought that would be the end of his career as he had to be operated nine times before he was able to slightly touch the ground with the leg.
Having undergone different surgeries and test, Cazorla finally recovered from the setback and he is back to the Emirates stadium, where he was seen in a work-out session with the rest of the team.
Though the 33-year-old reportedly trained with Real Oviedo— a relatively small club in his homeland — last week, Cazorla is believed to make a return back to the Gunners training ground on Thursday hoping to feature for the Gunners before the end of the season.
While reacting to what looks like a ‘Miraculous’ comeback from injury, Arsenal fans took to Twitter to show how happy they are hearing that their influential midfielder could kick a ball once again.
Dharma Bhagalia (@Kloppholic) tweeted how surprise he was to see the Spanish midfielder return to light training after two years.
