Manchester United are now set to announce the capturing of Slovakian teenager Martin Svidersky after beating Liverpool to his signature.

Liverpool were earlier reported to be leading the chase for his signature as they were the first club to show interest in the 15-year-old but they failed in their bid to acquire his services.

Apart from the Merseyside club, Chelsea, Manchester City as well as West Ham were all linked with the player but none of them was able to lure him into their respective team.

Manchester City wasn’t impressed with Svidersky’s performance during his trial with the club’s youth team and they, therefore, cooled their interest in his service.

According to Daily Mail, the Red Devils were swift in dealing with the player’s representative as they wasted no time in agreeing to personal terms with the youngster.

Svidersky has reportedly signed a three-year contract with the Old Trafford outfits and would be immediately integrated into their youth team who is being monitored by Nicky Butt – former United midfielder.

Nicky Butt is known for his perfect way of turning youngsters into a hot commodity in short time, he would be hoping he does the same with Svidersky, who has been tipped as the next poster boy for the Slovakia national team in the nearest future.
