Rada Nainggolan

AS Roma midfielder Rada Nainggolan’s against Liverpool in Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final clash was one of the best he’s had throughout this season. Despite his side losing to the Reds at Anfield by a wide goal-margin, Rada Nainggolan stood his ground in the middle of the pitch for the Serie A giants who lost 5-2 to Jurgen Klopp’s men.

His performance during the encounter hasn’t gone unnoticed as fans and pundits praised him continually for being lively against a strong team like Liverpool.

After being impressed with the Belgian international, Manchester United fans took to Twitter to advice José Mourinho to compete with Arsenal and Manchester City for his signature in the summer.

Nainggolan is believed to cost nothing less than £40.5m according to transfermarkt, though his price tag could increase before the start of the next transfer period should he maintain his present blistering form for club and country.

Here are some of the comments made by United Fans on Twitter as they unanimously call on  Portuguese manager to ensure the 29-year-old switch to Old Trafford.

Stuart folley writes via his verified account that United need a player like the Belgian if they must compete with City for next season’s Premier game.

Chris Boulton and Tunde Black-schole both admit that the 29-year-old is the best player on the pitch after Mohammed Salah, therefore, they called on the team board to ensure the sign him.

Finally, MUFC Stuttgart suggest that Nainggolan is the only player he dreamt of seeing in the Red Devils’ jersey in the 2018-19 season.

Roma will hope the midfielder maintains his form in the return leg of the encounter if they must stand a chance of overturning their 5-2 away loss to Liverpool.
