Premier League giants Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of bringing Jame Maddison, who plays for Championship side Norwich City, to the Anfield stadium next season according to reports via the Anfield Edition.
Maddison, 21, is one of the standout performers in the middle of the park for the Yellow Canaries this season, scoring 15 goals and 11 assists in 46 appearances.
Despite having many options at the attacking midfield position, Jurgen Klopp remains keen on signing the England youngster as part of his move to create more goalscoring chances in the 2018-19 season.
Liverpool’s Chances Of Luring Him To Anfield
Liverpool might find it hard to lure him out of Carrow Road in the summer due to fierce competition for a place in Klopp’s starting lineup which have seen Dominic Solanke being on the bench for most of the season.
Liverpool left-back Alexander-Arnold, who was Maddison’s close friend might play a huge role in convincing the 21-year-old to join the Reds, therefore Klopp stands a 6/10 chance of acquiring the player’s signature this summer.
Will He Be A Perfect signing For The Reds?
Having heard about the rumour linking him to Anfield stadium in the summer, Maddison would be eager and delighted to play for such huge club but is he the player who will bring more fluidity to Liverpool’s display at the centre of the pitch?
After his breath-taking performances for the Carrow road outfits, the youngster will surely bring more quality to the Reds’ quality base on his technicality and his skills which will be fine-tuned by Klopp’s guidance.
We believe he is 8/10 ready to become a regular starter at Liverpool should he eventually move to the club.
