Liverpool are currently in their best form in recent years as they have qualified to Champions League semi-final clash.
The Merseyside club didn’t just qualify for the Semi-final of the competition, they did it in style after beating their Premier league counterparts Manchester City, who have been invincible all through this season.
The Reds stunned the Citizens in the first Leg at Anfield when they recorded a 3-0 victory before they recorded another surprising 2-1 victory over Guardiola’s men at Etihad in the reverse fixture which was played last Wednesday.
Though Liverpool have been collectively brilliant, Mohammed Salah has been incredible for the team this season and the club could find it hard to retain his service beyond the summer as there are clubs hoping to snatch the Egyptian from Klopp’s watch.
Salah 25, was on the scoresheet over both legs against City to bring his tally to 39 strikes in all competitions. Having seen his performances for the Reds this season, Real Madrid are determined to acquire his signature this summer.
According to Don Balon, Madrid now stand a chance of snapping him up should Liverpool win their sixth Champions League trophy by the end of the season.
The report also suggests that the European Golden boot chaser would cost Madrid huge transfer fee should he finally decide to move out of Anfield to the Santiago Bernabeu.
