Paris St-German manager Unai Emery is all but confirmed to be leaving the Ligue 1 giants by the close of the season and he is set to be replaced by Thomas Tuchel in the summer.
The incoming manager is believed to make some signings in the summer as he hopes to maintain the club’s standard as the best team in the French Ligue.
According to reports via Sports Buzzer, Tuchel is planning to make Chelsea powerhouse N’golo Kante his prime target ahead of the upcoming season.
The France international midfielder is one of Chelsea’s standout performers this session despite the Blues forgettable performances throughout this campaign.
The report further reveals that the former Leicester City midfielder is set to cost not less than €80m and PSG could be asked to pay more than that should the player performs exceptionally for the Les Blues in the summer World Cup which will be hosted by Russia.
Signing Kante could be a very tough task to complete by Tuchel as the Blues are not ready to sell him irrespective of the offer they might get from interested suitors.
The Blues are said to make wholesome changes to their team in the summer but Kante remains an indispensable player in Antonio Conte’s team.
With Neymar, Edison Cavani, Di Maria, Kylian Mbappe and Kante — should he move to the Parc De Princes stadium— PSG would surely be a team to beat in the upcoming season.
