Alvaro Morata seems to be the latest player whose future remains uncertain after his uninspiring first season at Stamford Bridge.

The Spanish international moved from La Liga Champions Real Madrid to Chelsea last summer as the most expensive player bought by the Blues since inception, but he has failed to justify his price tag and he is set to move out of the club by the end of the season.

It was reported last week via Don Balon that Madrid are ready to re-sign the 14-goal striker when the summer transfer window reopens as Zinedine Zidane wants to bring new and young players into his squad ahead of next season.

There is another twist to Morata’s future as the report emanating from the Bridge this morning suggest that Serie A Champions Juventus are set to rival Madrid for his signature.

It should be recalled that the Spaniard was loaned out to Turin in the 2014-15 season by Real Madrid where he spent two successful seasons before returning back to the Spanish Capital at the start of 2016-17 season.

According to Rai Sport, maximiliano Allegri is willing to lure him back to Turin ahead of the upcoming season should Mario Mandzukic departs the club in the summer.

With the player’s form, Juventus are reportedly not ready to pay big for his signature but Chelsea are ready to sell him so as to invest on other striker with the money they might realize from his sale.
