Inter are eyeing replacements for their defender who is currently being linked with a move to Old Trafford by the end of the season.
Joao Cancelo who is on loan with the Serie A giants might be heading out of San Siro next season due to his impressive performances for the club which has drawn the attention of José Mourinho.
The defender is believed to cost Manchester United nothing less than €35m in the summer but the Red Devils are going to face stiff competitions from Inter Milan who are hoping to sign him from Valencia on a permanent deal when the summer transfer window begins.
The Nerazzurri might cool their interest in signing him permanently because Valencia seems to be asking too much from the Serie A side before they could allow him make a permanent switch to the San Siro in the summer.
Having seen that they stand a very slim chance of retaining Cancelo beyond this season, The former Serie A Champions have reportedly set their eyes on Atletico Madrid’s Simeone Vrsaljko whom they believe won’t be too hard to get.
According to Tuttosport, Simeone Vrsaljko is one of the players linked with a move to Old Trafford by the end of the season.
United manager José Mourinho hopes to bring more quality to his team’s defensive abilities ahead of next season.
